THERMOSTAT KITS
Thermostats are located within the cooling system and are responsible for restricting water flow within the engine until proper engine operating temperature is reached. The bi-metal composition of the thermostat will then allow the thermostat to open, the cooling water to circulate, thereby cooling the engine. All thermostats, except some Volvo applications, are produced domestically. Marine thermostat temperature ranges are considerably cooler than automotive. Our popular thermostat kits come complete with mounting gaskets where required.
