Sierra uses mylar insulated condensers. Mylar is the best material available to absorb excess voltage across tungsten contacts. Our condensers feature neoprene lead wires and buna end pieces. These resist oil, water, and ozone and protect the insulation. Another feature of the neoprene lead wire is that it can be molded to form, allowing much easier installation.
