All marine starters must be ignition protected to prevent explosion. Sierra's new and remanufactured starters are the only marine starters that meet Marine UL standards. Our starters also meet International standards as required by the European Community.
Sierra's remanufactured starters all have new solenoids, drives, bushings, brushes and springs. The bodies are powder coated for greater corrosion resistance. All are 100% load tested. Our remanufactured starters are covered by Sierra's customer satisfaction warranty. Sierra has late model, hard to find GM permanent magnet starters.
