    Motor Pump Unit
    The motor pump unit is CE approved and tested at our factory for pressure and performance.  Included in every pump kit is a pint of Trim Master's Trimdraulic. This is an environment friendly hydraulic fluid.

    Installation of Energy Pack
    Step B: Installing Energy Pack Unit.
    Locate an area relatively free of obstructions and excessive
     water (mount to face of bulkhead).
    Using the energy pack housing as a template, mark all mounting holes. Drill 5/32" holes to mount energy pack with #10 stainless steel
    screws provided.
    Connecting hydraulic lines.
    a. Slide 1/2"nut on tubing.
    b. Slide ferrule on tubing.
    c. Insert tubing into 3" brass tube at cylinder until it stops.
    d. Start the nut and run down snug. Do not over tighten.
    e. Cut hydraulic lines to desired length at pump and repeat
         connection process.
    f. Fill reservoir with approx. 1 pint of fluid included in set.

     

    Installation of Switch and Wire Assemblies
    Step C: Mounting Switch Assembly to Dash.
    1. Locate desired and easy access position for switch.
    2. Using a 2 1/2" hole saw, drill the holes for the switch or cut with a
         jig saw.
    3. Using the switch bezel as a template, mark the four corner mounting
         screws. See Figure 4.
    4. The toggle switch type assembly uses a mounting gasket.
    5. Install a wire harness, connect the five pin male-female plug at
         energy pack, fish wires to helm.
    6.Cut wire to desired length at the switch and install ring terminals.
    7. Mount switch with four #6 stainless steel screws after switch
         connections are made (use 3/32"bit).
    8.Connect color coded wires to color coded screws of switch.
        (Note: color coding on switch body.) See Figure 5.
    9. Connect hot lead to battery.
    10. Connect ground lead from energy pack to battery ground.
    11. Bleeding system-work tabs full down and up two to three times.

    Quick Check List
    With system installed completely, activate port switch for starboard tab
    response and starboard switch for port tab response.
