These Racor filters use a three-stage filter system to remove virtually all of the water and 99% of the solids that are present in almost all fuel.

- Primary stage centrifuges the fuel, sending large particulate matter and water droplets down to the sediment bowl
- Second stage coalesces the remaining water into droplets down to the sediment bowl - dry fuel continues upward
- Third stage is a 2-micron filter, which removes the remaining minute grit
- Built-in check valve keeps fuel from draining back into your tank
