ANCOR supplies a full line of Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink Products to environmentally seal electrical connections. Both the Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing (ALT) and the Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Connectors (ALC) insulate and protect connections from mechanical abuse, wire pullout and abrasion. The heat activated adhesive melts and flows under pressure from shrinking to create a seal which resists salt water, oil, gasoline, and other environmental contaminants. Cross Linked polyolefin tubing is much stronger than PVC tubing Heat activated adhesive lining provides impervious seal to salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight as well as providing strain relief Semi-flexible design provides structural strength Highest shrink ratio - shrinks to 1/3 original size Cross Linked polyolefin heat shrink tubing will not burn like PVC tubing Shrinks at 257 F (125 C) Operating temperature range of -40 C to 110 C
ANCOR supplies a full line of nylon insulated, tinned copper terminals for the highest quality electrical system. ANCOR Marine Grade terminals differ from "automotive" terminals by being designed specifically for the harsh marine environment. Our nylon insulators are easy to crimp and will not split. Our barrels are designed to tightly grip the wire with the least effort. Our tinned copper gives the least electrical resistance but the most corrosion protection.
