Finally, an oil changing pump that offers the convenience of automated oil changes without making a permanent connection to the oil pan. The OP-700 is our newest REVERSO model, this design makes it the most versatile unit available to the boat builder as well as the boat owner! The easy to install OP-700 allows you to attach the unit to a bulkhead or keep it portable. You simply connect the pump to a DC power supply. All the necessary hoses are affixed to the unit itself so no plumbing work is necessary. The system is completely self contained. The OP-700 features a fully reversible pump and is very simple to operate. You remove the dipstick and connect the suction hose to the dipstick fitting. Then place the discharge hose into a waste container and flip the switch. To refill with new engine oil, you simply have to move the discharge hose to the new clean oil and reverse the switch. Like all REVERSO oil changing systems the OP-700 was designed sturdy and built to last. We use the same quality components manufactured to the highest standards. The features include a poly mounting board, stainless steel cover plate, a safety switch lock and a heavy duty motor that will pump hot or cold oil.

    Installation/ Operating Instructions OP-700 Portable

    System Assembly:
The system is supplied with two hoses. The longer 5/8 diameter suction hose is supplied with female garden hose fittings on each end. One end of this hose attaches to the pump and the other end is designed to screw onto the collar surrounding the top of the dip tube. The shorter discharge hose has a female garden hose fitting on one end, which is designed to attach to the pump and a
1/2 female SAE flare fitting on the other end, which is designed to fit inside a waste container.

    Priming the system:
Before initial use, either pour or suck a small amount of oil into the pump and lines. By filling the pump head with oil, the impeller is protected from running dry and shortening its life. Once the pump is filled with oil, this procedure does not have to be repeated for subsequent uses. The fixture at the top of the base plate is designed to store the oil-filled hoses after use.

The system can withdraw oil via the dip tube or through smaller nylon tubes which are inserted into the dip tube and down into the oil pan. Reverso has a wand set- the OP-610-3 which includes:
a 1/4 nylon tube, a 5/16 nylon tube and a 7/16 hose for insertion over the dip tube with an external clamp.

    Electrical Connection:
The system is supplied with clamps for connection to the battery terminals. The red handled clamp is designed to be attached to the Positive (+) terminal, while the black handled clamp is designed to be attached to the Negative (-) terminal. With the wiring connections made in this manner, the pump will operate in the same direction as indicated by the arrow on the pump label. The system is supplied with an in-line 15 slow burn fuse. to be attached to the Positive (+) terminal, while the black handled clamp is designed to be attached to the Negative (-) terminal. With the wiring connections made in this manner, the pump will operate in the same direction as indicated by the arrow on the pump label.
