Simply follow our 1-2-3 steps and you're on your way.

Step 1:
Release winch hook locking mechanism. Unwind about 6 feet of strap or cable. Place standard or after-market winch hook into Captain Hook device.

Step 2:
Extend Captain Hook telescoping pole to the desired length. Keeping the strap laying on top of the pole or off to the side.

Step 3:
With your hook cradled inside of the device, just reach out and attach your hook onto the boats' eyelet.
