The Quest-X has all the features of the Quest above
with the option for a RAM+ and Class D DSC (dedicated
channel 70 receiver that continuously watches for DSC
calls). The remote second station allows full control of
all radio and DSC functions. The Quest-X has the ability
to "poll" (request and send) the GPS location of
another vessel and show that vessel's position on the
radio's display. Connect a Standard Horizon Chartplotter
to the Quest-X to post the position of the polled vessel
on the plotter's display. Included mic has a dedicated
16/9 key, channel selection keys and ClearVoice noise
reduction technology.
