How it works: This advanced water purity tester measures the total dissolved solids (TDS) in water.  It is designed to identify the existence of most metals, minerals and inorganic elements.  Many inorganic elements commonly found in water have known and potential health risks.  The reading is expressed in parts per million (ppm).  The higher the reading of your water, the greater the probability of harmful contaminants in your water.  Experts agree:  drink the purest water you can find.

Harmful contaminants often found in drinking water include.  asbestos; lead; mercury; arsenic and cyanide.
