Kasco De-Icers
circulate the water from beneath your vessel to the surface,
causing turbulence that reduces or eliminates ice formation.
De-Icers can even move water from a deeper channel, if
necessary, to the shallower area where your boat is moored, and
protect docks from "ice jacking" by preventing the
formation of solid sheets of ice. De-Icers are designed to be
suspended by two or more lengths of line, pipe, or chain, and
can be hung from a vessel, dock or other flotation device. 1/2
hp model keeps a 50'-dia. are from freezing. 3/4 hp model keeps
a 75'-dia. area from freezing.
- Motor assembly is sealed in an
oil bath for long life, and has ball bearings for smooth
operation
- Guard and motor case are made
from stainless steel
- Each motor/propeller/guard
assembly includes 25' of special low-temperature power
cable, a zinc anode for corrosion protection and a grounded
three-prong plug
