    Accessories - Operating Valves and Air Strainers

    Several valves are offered for use with Kahlenberg Air Horns and Whistles.  Depending on the air requirements of the particular model horn or whistle, valves of particular orifice size should be used.   For Air/Steam Whistles be sure to select a valve with pipe size matching that of the whistle being used.

    In addition to manual and electronic solenoid valves, combination of valves are offered that can be operated both electrically and manually.  Depending on the application of the sound signal, certain installations and regulatory bodies will require the manual override option on an electric solenoid valve in case of electrical system failure.
