Until now, replacing scratched or cracked lenses meant sending the lid to the manufacturer or paying a professional to repair. However, Lewmar has created a two-piece frame with tough, grayed acrylic that can be replaced simply by unscrewing the frame and inserting the new lens. Each hatch features Lewmar's unique seal system-the seal and acrylic are fitted into the aluminum frame to produce a stronger, more leak-proof hatch. CE-certified aluminum frame has smooth, rounded edges, inset hinges and rounded corners for snag-resistance. All hatches feature a vent position, and sizes 30 and larger have lockable internal and external handles for added security.

Medium profile hatches have a deeper frame section and 12mm acrylic in all sizes. A good choice for installation on offshore boats.
