    MACS (Marine Anti-Corrosion System) is a marine engine cleaner (introduced as an engine flush) which acts as a corrosion inhibitor and provides ongoing metal protection for all types of marine motors including outboard motors, inboard motors and jet-skis. MACS Ultrafilm clings to the metal surfaces of the cooling channels of a the engine's cooling system, cleaning and protecting the motor from the salt and mineral deposits which cause metal corrosion.

    The right portion of this aluminium has been treated once with MACS Ultrafilm, and the entire plate exposed to salt water for two months.
    The left portion received no treatment.

    How the MACS Injector works

    Unlike simple venturi systems, the MACS Injector has two tubes, a long one for slow water feed and a short one for the uptake of premixed solution via the main water flow.

    This has the following advantages:

    • the Injector works consistently in all water pressures, flow rates and motor sizes.
    • the Injector is unaffected by back pressure
    • MACS Ultrafilm is already pre-mixed, before injection into the cooling system.

    The unit also has these qualities: 

    • once assembled, the unit is virtually leakproof..
    • the glass reinforced nylon body is indestructible.
    • the polycarbonate bowl includes easy to read measurements
    		 How the Macs injector works

    Instructions for using MACS

    1. Connect the MACS injector to a water hose and to the motor's flush hose intake (see diagram above).
    2. Turn on the water and start the motor. Run until the motor is warm and the thermostats are open.
    3. With motor and water running, unscrew the injector bowl, discard the water and add the required volume of Ultrafilm (see table below). Screw the bowl back on.
      Ultrafilm will be fully injected into the motor within 30-60 seconds after which the solution cloudiness will be mostly gone. Treatment is complete.
      No further flushing (before or after) is required.

      TREAT THE MOTOR AFTER EVERY TRIP AND AT THE START OF STORAGE PERIODS.
      For external protection, spray all exterior metal surfaces regularly with Ultrafilm.
