Swaging Tool (Swage It)

Swage-It Tools are made of cadmium plated steel to produce full rated strength of Nicopress sleeves. When using No 2 or No. 3 Swage-It Tools for loop ends, one Nicopress oval sleeve will hold full rated cable strength on 7 x 7 or 7 x 19 cable. On 1 x 19 we recommend using two Nicopress oval sleeves at each end to hold full rated strength. Swaging pressure is applied by using a wrench to tighten bolts. Note: "Size" shows the wire size for the sleeves that the particular will handle.

Copper, Zinc PlatedMade of zinc plated copper, the Nicopress sleeve is an easy way for making a neat, strong eye splice in a matter of seconds without frayed cable ends (stainless thimbles are recommended). For eye splices, one Nicopress oval sleeve will hold full rated cable strength on 7 x 7 or 7 x 19 cable. On 1 x 19 we recommend using two Nicopress oval sleeves at each end to hold full rated strength. Crimping of sleeve must be done with a Nicopress type swaging tool or the Swage-It tool, to insure maximum holding power.Note: To crimp these you will need the proper tools. See: SWAGING TOOL in the Tool Section. "Size" refers to the wire rope size you wish to swage. Price each. |
