The canisters are made of stainless steel and are filled with a non-flammable wool fiber that allows vapors to be released when the flame control valve is opened. The canisters hold enough denatured alcohol to burn for 4-7 hours per filling, depending on flame setting. It only takes 6-8 minutes to boil a quart of water. The stovetop easily flips up to allow access to the fuel canisters for easy filling. Made of stainless steel, these stoves are built to survive the harshest environment.
