TideSlides are available in 5 standard duty ratings:
TS Series-Heavy Duty 1" Shaft |
YS Series- Yacht Class 1 1/2" Shaft |
Please note that the duty ratings are for each individual unit and the use of more than one unit increases the rating for each additional unit employed. Example: 4 Heavy Duty 1" TideSlides will provide a maximum rating of up to 30,000 lbs. (6) Heavy Duty Units will moor a yacht up to a maximum rating of 50,000 lbs. Length of slide and mounting conditions will limit weights. Keep in mind, security is always greater in numbers, 6 units may work better than 4. Always keep in mind the conditions of your dockage, if you are moored in a high traffic or an exposed area, you want to move up to the next rating of TideSlide. In certain applications, your boat will require a higher rated unit to maintain a secure mooring. Always consider the overall weight of your yacht when choosing the proper TideSlide system.
