    With its rugged drive unit, the ST4000T Grand Prix is well suited for tiller steered racing yachts and of offshore cruisers. The fluxgate compass is separated from the drive unit for greater accuracy, and the control unit can be mounted where it is always easy to reach.
    Full SeaTalk and NMEA compatibility mean you can steer straight to a waypoint, lock on to a given wind angle, or simply set and follow a course to steer.
    The large, clear display keeps you informed of what is happening, and even acts as a multi-function instrument or navaid repeater. Used by the worlds top single handed race skippers, the ST4000T Grand Prix is the perfect choice for the serious sailor.

    A stronger version of the ST 4000 Plus, it can be used with boats up to 45' and 20,000 lb. displacement. The drive unit has an ultra-long-life motor and mechanical assembly for greater dependability at sea.

    Consider the type of boating you plan to do, then match your boats steering system, fully laden displacement and length with the Tiller Pilot Selection Chart below to find the right pilot model for you.

    Remember, always use fully laden displacement which is often 20% above the designed displacement, and dont be tempted to choose a pilot which is always working at the limits of its designed capabilities. If you choose your pilot with safety in mind, then it wont struggle when the going gets tough.
