The Vista and Outlook are Interphase's new economy versions of their forward scanning sonars, Probe and Sea Scout. They have shallower depth ranges, but have the same 200 kHZ frequency, the same 420 watts rms power and the incredibly useful ability to scan ahead of your boat for schools of fish, bait, structures, obstacles, or channels. These hand-constructed units feature split screen viewing and 4X over-sample zoom to show you detailed displays of any mid-water area, including an expanded view of water just above the bottom. Vista uses a 90 side-to-side forward scan, looking up to 600' ahead of your vessel. Outlook scans vertically in a 90 arc. Both also function as conventional down-looking depth sounders--Vista to a depth of 320' and Outlook to 400'.
