    VETUS Wiper Motors

    Vetus Windshield Motor Type RWS
    All VETUS wiper motors (type RWS) are two-speed and self-parking. The drive shaft of these motors is made of stainless steel. The VETUS wiper motors may be supplied with a short (1") or with a long (2") mounting shaft.
    Short Shaft (1")
    Motors with a short mounting shaft are suitable for hull thickness of 1/8" to 1/4"
    for pantograph applications and for hull thickness of 1/8" to 1/2" for single application.
    		 Long Shaft (2")
    Motors with the long mounting shaft are suitable for hull thickness of 1/8" to 1 1/4" for pantograph applications and for hull thickness of 1/8" to 1 1/2" for single application.

     Installation of the plastic cover reduces the indicated maximum hull thickness by 1/8". When using the wiper arm type AD, the maximum wall thickness is reduced by 1/4" and with the arm type SSAD by 1/8".
